Terms of use
Last update: 7 May 2024 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Suitetogether that govern your right to use the websites, applications, and other offerings from Suitetogether (collectively, the “Suitetogether Platform”). When used in these Terms, “Suitetogether,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the Suitetogether entity, which is 100% owned by Murelle One Pte Ltd. The Suitetogether Platform (https://suitetogether.com) offers an online venue that enables users (“Members”) to publish, offer, search for, enquire about, and manage lodgings (“Lodgings”). Each offered Lodging is a “Listing”, and Members who publish and offer Lodgings are “Hosts” and Members who search for, enquire, or use services are “Guests” or “Tenants”. As the provider of the Suitetogether Platform, Suitetogether does not own, control, offer or manage any Listings. Suitetogether is not a party to the contracts entered into directly between Hosts and Guests, nor is Suitetogether a real estate broker, travel agency, insurer or an organiser or retailer of travel packages. Suitetogether is not acting as an agent in any capacity for any Member. We maintain other terms and policies that supplement these Terms like our Privacy Policy, which describes our collection and use of personal data. Guest Terms Searching and enquiring. You can search for and enquire about any published and available Host Listings on Suitetogether. When you enquire about a Listing, you are expressing an interest to the Host to list the specified Listing. Basic profile details such as nationality, gender, age, and occupation may be requested via Suitetogether for Hosts to understand more about Guests. You are not obliged to disclose any other personal information via the Suitetogether Platform such as your real name. Such personal information should only be disclosed, where necessary, off-site only after due diligence has been performed. Enquiries for Listings should only be made where the Guest has intent to book it. Hosts have the final say on whether to accept the Guest and proceed with arrangements of the tenancy agreement, which should be made outside of the Suitetogether Platform. Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for your own acts and omissions and are also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you invite to join or provide access to any Lodging, all areas and facilities where the Lodging is located that the Host and Guest are legally entitled to use in connection with the Lodging (“Common Areas”). For example, this means: (i) you are responsible for leaving an Lodging (and related personal property) or Common Areas in the condition it was in when you arrived, (ii) you are responsible for paying all reasonable Damage Claim amounts, and (iii) you must act with integrity, treat others with respect and comply with applicable laws at all times. Host Terms Host. The interface for hosts can be accessed via https://suitetogether.com/host (“Host Interface”). As a Host, Suitetogether offers you the right to use the Suitetogether Platform in accordance with these Terms to share your Lodging with our vibrant community of Guests. It’s easy to create a Listing and you are in control of how you host - set your price, availability, and rules for each Listing. Contracting with Guests. Suitetogether does not currently offer any direct service for facilitating the contracting between Hosts and Guests. You are responsible for preparing and arranging your own legal agreement for the purposes of contracting with Guests. Any Enquiries, Tenant Accounts, or Tenant Agreements created on the Suitetogether platform are for record and communication purposes only and is not legally binding. Independence of Hosts. Your relationship with Suitetogether is that of an independent individual or entity and not an employee, agent, joint venturer or partner of Suitetogether. Suitetogether does not direct or control your Host Service and you understand that you have complete discretion whether and when to provide Host Services and at what price and on what terms to offer them. Creating and Managing Your Listing. The Suitetogether Platform provides tools that make it easy for you to set up and manage a Listing. If you publish your Listing, it must include complete and accurate information about your Host Service, your price, other charges like cleaning fees, offline fees, and any rules or requirements that apply to your Guests or Listing. You are responsible for your acts and omissions as well as for keeping your Listing information and content (like photos) up-to-date and accurate at all times. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance for your Lodging and we suggest you carefully review policy terms and conditions like coverage details and exclusions. You may only maintain one Listing per Lodging, but may have multiple Listings for a single property if it has multiple places to stay. Branding Page. The Branding Page is a page where Hosts can showcase their brand, services, and listings exclusively. Only Hosts with an active paid subscription are entitled to this feature. Usage of Tenant Portal. The Tenant Portal is a means for Hosts to communicate with Guests. Hosts may invite Guests to their Tenant Portal to facilitate tenant servicing during the period of the tenancy agreement. The Tenant Portal is a means of communication and in the event of a miscommunication, it does not relieve the Host or Guest of any of their legal obligations, such as the Guest paying rent in a timely manner. Know Your Legal Obligations. You are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, rules, regulations and contracts with third parties that apply to your Listing. For example: Some landlords and leases, or homeowner and condominium association rules, restrict or prohibit subletting, short-term rentals and/or longer-term stays. Some cities have zoning or other laws that restrict the short-term rental of residential properties. Some jurisdictions require that you register Guests who stay at your Lodging. Some jurisdictions have laws that create tenancy rights for Guests and additional obligations for Hosts. For example, some places have landlord-tenant, rent control, and eviction laws that may apply to longer stays. Check your local rules to learn what rules apply to the Host Services you plan to offer. Information we provide regarding legal requirements is for informational purposes only and you should independently confirm your obligations. You are responsible for handling and using personal data of Guests and others in compliance with applicable privacy laws and these Terms, including our Host Privacy Standards. If you have questions about how local laws apply you should always seek legal advice. Your Responsibilities. You are responsible for your own acts and omissions and are also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you allow to participate in providing your Host Services. You are responsible for setting your price and establishing rules and requirements for your Listing. You must describe any and all fees and charges in your Listing description. Do not encourage Guests to create third-party accounts, submit reviews, provide their contact information, or take other actions outside the Suitetogether Platform in violation of our Off-Platform Policy. Hosting as a Team or Organization. If you work with a co-host or host as part of a team, business or other organization, you are responsible and liable as a Host under these Terms for the acts and omissions of each entity and individual who participates with you in providing Host services for each of your listings and you are required to inform personnel engaged by you to deliver any Host Services of your obligations under these Terms. If you accept terms or enter into contracts, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to enter into contracts for and bind your team, business or other organization, and that each entity you use is in good standing under the laws of the place where it is established. If you perform other functions, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to perform those functions. Suitetogether subscriptions and other services Subscription plan. Suitetogether offers a subscription plan “Suitetogether Pro” and “Suitetogether Premium” which avails the Host to certain premium features within the Suitetogether Platform. If you are a subscriber, the initial usage fee will be charged to you on the same day as you placed the corresponding order, and, thereafter, Suitetogether will automatically bill your credit card, debit card or bank account on the same day each month (“Monthly Billing Anniversary Date”) if you are a monthly subscriber or the same day of each year (“Yearly Billing Anniversary Date”) if you are a yearly subscriber until you cancel or terminate in accordance with this Agreement. No refunds or prorated usage will be given in the instance where the subscription is cancelled, and the subscribed Host will be entitled to the premium features until the end of that subscription cycle. You understand that upon any failure to make payment in a timely manner as aforementioned, Suitetogether reserves the right to deny the Host or User any access to the premium features until payment is completed successfully. Unlocking Leads. When a new Guest submits an enquiry for your listing, they will appear as new leads (“Leads”) inside the Host Interface. Each Lead can be unlocked using Lead Tokens which can be purchased via the Suitetogether subscription page. Unlocking leads are perpetual in effect. Other services. Suitetogether offers customized services on an ad-hoc basis, such as White labelling services. The aforementioned services are independent of the Suitetogether Platform and are governed by their own set of individual terms which is to be agreed upon separately. Taxes Host Taxes. As a Host, you are responsible for determining and fulfilling your obligations under applicable laws to report, collect, remit or include in your price any applicable VAT or other indirect taxes, occupancy taxes, tourist, income or other taxes ("Taxes"). General terms Content. Parts of the Suitetogether Platform enable you to provide feedback, text, photos, information and other content (“Content”). By providing Content, in whatever form and through whatever means, you grant Suitetogether a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license, for the term of the protection of the rights so licensed, to access, use, store, copy, modify, prepare derivative works of, distribute, publish, transmit, stream, broadcast, and otherwise exploit in any manner such Content to provide and/or promote the Suitetogether Platform, in any media or platform, known or unknown to date and in particular on Internet and social networks. Where Suitetogether pays for the creation of Content or facilitates its creation, Suitetogether may own that Content, in which case supplemental terms or disclosures will say that. You are solely responsible for all Content that you provide and warrant that you either own it or are authorized to grant Suitetogether the rights described in these Terms. Content must comply with our Content Policy and Nondiscrimination Policy, which prohibit, among other things, discriminatory, obscene, harassing, deceptive, violent and illegal content. You agree that Suitetogether may make available services or automated tools to translate Content and that your Content may be translated using such services or tools.
